I’m Danny Martinez- a devoted husband, a proud father, and when I step behind the decks, I’m DJ Danny Marz. Music has always been a part of my life fo r as long as I can remember, and what started as a hobby quickly turned into something much bigger. Before I knew it, I was spending every spare moment learning, practicing, and finding any excuse to get behind the turntables. I was hooked!
I got into DJing in the early 90s thanks to my older brother, who was also a DJ… spinning records on turntables! Of course, I thought that was the coolest thing ever, so I saved up, got my own setup, and started DJing house parties. That turned into gigs at local bars & clubs to a few rave parties in NYC. Over time, I found myself DJing more weddings and Sweet 16s, which opened up a whole new side of the industry for me. Instead of just playing for a crowd, I was playing for people celebrating huge moments in their lives, and that made DJing more meaningful for me.
Fast forward to now—I’ve built Marz Entertainment back in 2016 to bring my love and passion for music to every event I do. My style? I keep the music moving, read the crowd, and make sure every song hits at the right moment. I’m big on quick mixing, so no one’s stuck listening to a track that’s dragging on too long. Whether it’s a wedding, Sweet 16, or private party, I make sure the vibe is just right from start to finish.
